There’s no feeling like the definite recognition that there is nothing left for you where you are. That time has run out and it’s time to move on.
The strange mixture of heartbreak and excitement hit me like a wall recently, I was like I was running as fast as I could to get to platform 9 3/4 the one year that wall didn’t open for Harry. I guess it’s time though. I’d say time to leave this place behind, but it just doesn’t seem accurate anymore. I’ve learned all I could from this bustling city, and these contrasting people.
It’s all so surreal when I look back at how much I’ve grown since my first big move, it’s like the entire city has changed with me. Yet, I know somewhere there is a new generation of ‘me’ that one girl who just arrived to this dynamic city and has no idea the adventures she has in store.
Thanks for the lovin’ Montreal, I’m out.
